Kibum’s going solo? Netizens just think too much!

“SJ” Super Junior’s Kibum is really just too loved by his fans! Only because he has not appeared for a long time, coupled with the fact that he is unable to join in for Super Show II, some netizens have actually started to claim that he has fallen out with his members and SM Entertainment, and is planning to go solo by setting up a company on his own.

According to one tip-off, Kibum did not join in for promotions for Super Junior’s 3rd jib due to acting commitments, and was originally planning to reunite with his members for the concert tour. However, he’d hurt his leg a couple of weeks back and therefore is unable to join in. This in return, has generated a lot of controversy and debate amongst fans and netizens alike.

This news is believed to be the cause of all the rumours. When Kibum was interviewed recently, he said that he was incredibly touched when SJ won the Mutizen for in Music Bank, and when Leeteuk was crying and calling out to him: “We did it, Kibum who’s watching television now”.

Kibum was affected for a long time after that, and this only furthur proves that SJ is of one heart.

SuJu Super Show II: Return of the Kibum

With only peaks and glimpses of AWOL Super Junior member Kim Kibum, many were wondering if his presence on the posters promoting Super Junior's 2nd Asian Tour Super Show II meant that the prodigal member was finally going to rejoin his group.

Well rejoice ELFs, for an SM representative has disclosed that Kim Kibum is going to rejoin the group for the tour, despite missing all of the "Sorry Sorry" and "It's You" promotions up to this point. Fans are excited to see the member finally perform the new songs and choreographies on stage, as opposed to the bit parts we see of him in the MVs. Better late than never, I guess, though many SuJu followers feel this dichotomy of joy (that the guy is finally returning) and annoyance (that he was gone so long in the first place).

Let's just hope that he returns back to his glory days when he was effortlessly setting hearts aflutter, including those of Lee Soo Young:

Suju’s Kyuhyun Performs Solo for Yoo Young Suk

On June 16th, veteran singer and composer Yoo Young Suk hosted a stage at Seoul's Hongdae Live Hall to promote the upcoming release of his 20th anniversary celebration album. The SuJu-maknae with the powerful vocals, Kyuhyun, performed his cover of Yoo Young Suk's "7 Years' Love" at the event.

Kyuhyun's cover is slated for release as a digital single later this month, while the 20th anniversary album will be sold purely for charity, with all proceeds going to UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund). In the on-stage interview after the performance, Yoo Young Suk wowed at Kyuhyun's vocals, saying that "Now you can even rely on yourself (aka become independent)." ELFs everywhere held their breath - without Kyuhyun, who would back up all of the weaker SuJu vocals during their choruses? But don't fret, Kyuhyun fans; he won't be pulling a Kibum soon, as he simply laughed and replied, "No. I’m not capable of doing that." POWER OF 13!!!.. or 12, I guess.

Super Junior confirmed for 20th Golden Melody Awards

Before bringing their The 2nd Asia Tour Super Show II to Taipei, fans of Super Junior will be delighted to know that their idols has been confirmed for the 20th Golden Melody Awards on 27th June. This will be Super Junior's 2nd time at the awards ceremony, having previously attended the 18th edition in 2007. It will however still be only 12 instead of 13 members of Super Junior who will be attending. Kim Heechul missed the 2007 trip because of filming commitments and this time, Kim Kibum will be the one missing because of his acting preparations.

Super Junior was undoubtedly honored to be invited again, especially since it's a significant milestone for the Golden Melody Awards which is into it's 20th year of running. They will be performing their new songs, It's You and Sorry, Sorry for the first time outside of Korea and handing out awards as well.

Pretty boy, Kim Heechul was pretty excited about his first trip to Taiwan, as his fellow Super Junior members and DBSK seniors have kept feeding him with information about how delicious the Taiwan delicacies were like Xiaolongbao and pearl milk tea. Heechul said, "I am definitely going to try out all kinds of Taiwan delicacies!" Other members who will be coming for the 2nd time have expressed their desire to challenge the legend of the spicy hot pot. They also hope to meet Patty Hou again, who had interviewed them twice last time. Eun Hyuk especially, refers Patty Hou as an angel.

The 20th Golden Melody Awards will be held on 27th June at the Taipei Arena and broadcast live on Azio TV cable channel. The red carpet show will begin at 5PM with the actual ceremony starting at 6.30PM (all times indicated are in Taiwan local time).

Super Junior Will Tour Asia again

After making a successful comeback in 2009 with Sorry, Sorry and It's You, Super Junior will be looking to cement their position with the announcement of The 2nd Asia Tour Super Show II (10 shows). With slightly more than a month to go, Super Junior will kick start their concert tour in Seoul first, plus 7 other cities in Asia like Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Taipei, etc.

Their first stop in Seoul will see them hold a concert at the Olympic Fencing Gymnasium for 3 separate days, from 17 - 19th July. Tickets will go on sale in batches from 16 - 18th June at 8PM (KST) via G-Market. Organizers are working hard to ensure that tickets sales will run much more smoothly this time unlike last year where fans crashed the server while trying to get tickets for their first Asia Tour Super Show last year.

Fans will be able to see Super Junior perform their new songs from their 3rd album plus other exciting performances lined up. There was no announcement on whether Kim Kibum would be present since he has been absent from Super Junior 3rd album promotions lately. But he will probably be there since it's a big thing.

The Reasons Why Kibum Did Not Join Super Junior With Their Album Promotions

The recent release of Super Junior’s 3rd album late

ly, member KiBum (22) was not seen promoting the album title song ‘Sorry Sorry’ together with the rest of the group.

Netizens starting discussions on the internet about him ‘leaving the group’ or ‘because of his weight gain, he did not do promotions with the group’ etc. And lately, there has been many comparison of his photos about him gaining much weight going on on the internet.

The reason for his no-show was said to be that he was taking acting lessons. SM Entertainment said, “KiBum did the recording for Super Junior’s 3rd album too. There is not such thing as him leaving the group. He is currently taking acting classes, and hence he could not join the rest for the album promotions.”

“A while back, he filmed for LG OZ CF. Soon, he will be able to present to everyone himself in an upcoming good production.”

KiBum is the member in Super Junior with the greatest volume of acting activities. He took part in KBS drama ‘April’s Kiss’ in 2004, and then went on to SBS drama ‘Marrying a millionaire’, KBS2 ‘Rounding Off 2′, SBS ‘Snowflower’ etc.
